In our dental clinic in Mahón we put the most innovative technology in Odontology at the service of your smile, because our main objective is your well-being and that of your oral health. To do this, we have a series of tools that help us make diagnoses and treatment plans much more comprehensive and according to your needs:
Dental X-rays (Rx)
Dental x-rays are a type of image of the oral cavity through x-rays. They are a form of high-energy electromagnetic radiation that can be taken digitally. Our apparatus guarantees dental x-rays with a clear and balanced exposure, with a low level of radiation and does not require any type of chemical agents.
In this way, the images will be ready on time and we can speed up the treatment plan. Thanks to our X-rays in Mahon we guarantee a high quality in the image and in the dental techniques that are going to be carried out later.

Odontopantogram
This radiological technique allows us to obtain a general and unique image of the dentition, jaws and mandible, through an external radiographic device. In our dental clinic in Mahón we know this technique as panoramic radiography, also called orthopantomography.
Since these are digital radiographs, we reduce the radiation dose received by the patient. In general, we use this dental technology to plan treatments of Endodontics, Periodontics, Oral Implantology, Orthodontics and Oral Surgery, among others. In other cases, it is also useful to verify if there are wisdom teeth in bad position or to detect possible jaw complications.
The latest technologies for your smile in Mahón
3D simulation for computer-guided implantology
The guided surgery is a modern technology of oral implantology that we use in Clínica Blanc and through which we design the type of implants that will go in each zone of the oral cavity, before carrying out the pertinent surgery.
The safety and surgical precision with this technique are very reliable and allows to shorten the duration of surgeries up to half the time. Being a minimally invasive technique, postoperative discomfort is also reduced, as no stitches are placed. In short, we manage to reduce the stress and odontophobia of our patients throughout the treatment.

Computer-guided CAD-CAM simulation
The CAD-CAM system in Mahon allows us to design, by means of a computer program, the dental pieces that will be placed later in the oral cavity of the patient. The use of this technology leads to greater accuracy and precision when manufacturing prostheses and implants for our patients.
Thanks to the replicas we create in 3D, it is possible to carry out dental work faster than with traditional techniques, through which we used silicones and handmade molds. CAD-CAM technology is produced by means of a scanner that obtains a perfectly faithful image of the mouth and avoids taking measurements that lengthen the process.
Digital Smile Design
Today, one of the most advanced techniques in Dental Aesthetics is Digital Smile Design (DSD). This software allows to simulate in a virtual way the aesthetic improvements that will originate in the smile of the patient after his treatment.
With this technology, our patients can observe the final result of their oral cavity, even before starting the treatment planned by the dentist. Also, the DSD technology in Mahon allows the patient to set realistic expectations of their treatment and to participate in the design process, checking the results directly on a computer screen.
